◆ While you've given us a reasonable overview of Crow's arrival in the world and how he settled into the lifestyle he's chosen, we would need to see a more detailed expansion of his true origins, as well as significant events and experiences he has been through, interactions or relationships with other characters, and anything else you may consider important in his life up to the point you are bringing him from.
◆ Your personality section, at the moment, is far more brief than we expect from OC applications. We would like an expanded and more thorough look at Crow's characteristics, motivations and psychology, whether they are his own, influenced, or directly taken from humanity. This should also include specifics of any significant relationships he has and how they impact him, so that we can have more of an idea about how he will develop CR in game. We would also like to note that while we understand there is a level of malleability to his personality due to his form and origins, we require OCs to have some degree of concrete, set personality traits exampled in their applications in order to hold them as consistent in play.
◆ Your explanation of Crow's abilities and powers and where these come from is more nebulous than we'd like, especially for the degree of power he would hold. We would also appreciate a better understanding of the game scape and mechanics and possible limitations in keeping with these, and encourage you to reread our Rules, FAQ and setting information, particularly in regard to powers and nerfing.
◆ While we understand the way Crow presents is ambiguous in keeping with his self and may remain ambiguous in play, we would like a better defined description of his physical appearance in entirety, or a suggestion of a PB that you will use.
◆ Your log sample gives us a good glimpse at Crow's thought processes and motivations, but at the moment is too insular, and your comms sample gives us very little idea of character voice or interactivity. We would like new samples that give us a better idea of Crow's voice, how he may react to the setting of Ataraxion, and how he may interact with other characters (not necessarily within the scenario of a deal or trade). These can be written as his first arrival or network posts, at a prospective established point at his time in game, or his reactions had he been in game during past events.
◆ As you are new to journal-style RP, we would also like to encourage you to look over applications for Original Characters already accepted in game for a more general understanding of what we expect from an OC application. Many OCs keep their applications on their journals as listed in the Taken List for reference.
