PLEASE KEEP IN MIND that volunteers will not be carrying the plot on their own, but they will be given props and information to spread to other characters. Because volunteers will be used when applicable during game-wide plots, turnaround time is dependent entirely on the progress of the larger plots. These plots tend to roll out bi-monthly (with some exceptions), so please have patience while waiting for us to reach you on the list. Volunteer roles will not negate the interactive elements for other players. They'll essentially be "carriers" of interactive elements. For this reason, volunteers are required to SHARE THE INFORMATION THEY ARE GIVEN so that it is accessible to other characters in the game. We won't dictate the specifics of how your character responds or how the information goes public, but the information MUST somehow turn up in a public IC space. When we provide details on the plot information, we will also note whether it's important that the information goes public quickly (time sensitive, mostly event specific) or if it can be more slow-burn. This will help you determine if the info is a good fit for your character and schedule. There are several goals that we're hoping to achieve with this system:
Each player can only have their name on the list once at any given time. This means that whether a player has 1 character in-game or 6, they can still only sign up once. You do not need to specify a character when you sign up, and if you have several, you will be able to pick the character that you would like to use once you've been given the plot information. Once you have been selected and removed from the list, you can put your name in again; it will be added to the bottom of the current list, and so on.
