Labelled BAY 02 on all entrances and surfaces, the secondary shuttle bay is half the size of the main shuttle bay. Primarily devoted to shuttle construction, none of the shuttles here are complete or functional for flight.

The main bay is about 102,000 m². There are a total of 200 bays, all immediately adjacent to the main construction deck. Shuttles in various stages of construction are housed in these bays, or have been left pulled out in the central work space.

All around the construction deck, there is equipment enough to perform shuttle engineering and construction, integrity checks, engine installation & performance checks, computer system installation & diagnosis, electrical system installation & diagnosis, cooling system installation & diagnosis, control system installation & diagnosis and weapons system installation & diagnosis. You can find the following items scattered:

◆ Screwdrivers
◆ Hex keys
◆ Open end wrenches
◆ Ratchet drivers
◆ Cutting pliers
◆ Extensions
◆ Sockets
◆ Torque wrenches
◆ Molding equipment
◆ Lathes
◆ Hopper dryers
◆ Hones
◆ Cranes
◆ Loaders
◆ Augers
◆ Work lights, fluorescent or LEDs
◆ Schematics

◆ Workboard interfaces for schematic editing
◆ Pliers
◆ Channel locks
◆ Crescent wrenches
◆ Breaker bars or impact guns
◆ Circuit testers
◆ Digital multimeters
◆ Wire snips
◆ Goggles
◆ Toolboxes
◆ Storage lockers
◆ Generators
◆ Drills
◆ Grinders
◆ Forklifts
◆ Pulleys & rigs
◆ Grapples

◆ Hydraulics
◆ Crimping tools
◆ Wire strippers
◆ Air compressors
◆ Engine and shuttle lifts
◆ Dollies/hovertrucks
◆ Air lifts for heavy machinery
◆ Fluid exchangers
◆ Welding tools/helmets
◆ General safety helmets
◆ Gloves
◆ Milling machines
◆ Presses
◆ Saws
◆ Threading equipment
◆ Couplings
◆ Converters
◆ Space suits

Though none of the shuttles are complete or flight worthy, their designs and purposes can be inferred from their basic frameworks as well as schematic files accessible at many of the bay terminals. There are two types of crafts that were under construction: small, fast moving ships with direct attack capability, and larger vessels designed for the transportation and delivery of large payload packets. A third of the bays contain slightly more experimental models, with upgrades or design changes from the schematics being used at the rest.

CLASS: HARPY
PURPOSE: Short-range attack.
PERSONNEL CAPACITY: 4 (incl. pilots)
CARGO CAPACITY: About 1 metric tonne, or 1,000 kilograms.

CLASS: WYVERN
PURPOSE: Payload transportation & delivery.
PERSONNEL CAPACITY: 6 (incl. pilots)
CARGO CAPACITY: About 7 metric tonnes, or 7,000 kilograms.
