While the game doesn't currently have a network, due to the damage to the Tranquility's in-built one, players are already working towards having their characters build their own. We can't say for certain how soon this will be, but we do still intend the game to have a working network in the traditional sense. That said, we will also be encouraging those players who have characters reach high enough levels in telepathy to also feel free to use this as a medium on the network comm.

In short, yes, you can provide a telepathic message as network sample in your application if that's what you'd like to do! This would simply be considered another choice next to text, video and audio for characters who level up enough in that ability.
