Hiatuses do not count towards activity strike clearance, and ability grid level ups cannot be submitted for hiatused characters. A U T O P I L O T Grants full AC exemption for the hiatused month. Between 1 week to 1 month. Must cover part or all of the activity check week OR a significant portion of the month in order to grant exemption. Can fall during any span of time ICly. Players must determine handwaving/autopiloting as necessary. This option CANNOT default to getting lost in the jungle. C O M A Grants full AC exemption for the hiatused month. Must last a full month, no exceptions. Must cover part or all of the activity check week of the month being exempted. Characters will become lost in the jungle, unexpectedly reach the limit on the tether and fall into a coma. Characters can dream (content up to player), or remember nothing. Characters will emerge after hiatus disoriented and a little dehydrated, but otherwise strangely unharmed. Backtag all you like while you're on coma leave, but no new threads that occur ICly during the month will be allowed, as your character's out for the count. This can be a great option to play catch-up on backtags and come back with a clean slate! L O S T Requires half AC for the hiatused month. Network thread containing 5 comments from your character OR log thread containing 3 comments from your character. Between 1 and 2 weeks, nothing shorter or longer. Characters will become lost in the jungle, fending for themselves until eventually finding their way back. NO NETWORK ACCESS OR CONNECTED ABILITIES while lost in the jungle. Characters will return disoriented and in a state of dehydration and malnutrition subject to player discretion on resources or skills they may have. This is a good option for a semi-hiatus, taking some of the AC load off without requiring autopilot!
